Regional Leadership Roundtables provide a continuing form of specialized professional development for instructional mentors, coaches, district staff developers, principals, university faculty and others serving as instructional growth agents for early career teachers - preservice to ProCert. Roundtables meet six times during the school year in October, November, January, February March, and May. The OSPI Mentor Academy -- October 6-7 and October 25-26. The registration link is:

We expect this Academy to fill quickly, so please pass on this information to anyone you know who is hoping to attend. The fee, highly subsidized by state funding, has been reduced even further this year from $150 to $100 per participant in order to assist school districts in accessing this valuable resource. Training, materials, two texts, continental breakfast, lunch, lodging (double occupancy) for those traveling 50 miles or more, and reimbursement for substitute expenses are provided. Travel costs remain the responsibility of participants.
