This two-day follow-up workshop is intended for OSPI Mentor Academy I completers. It continues the "Mentoring Matters" training developed by Laura Lipton and Bruce Wellman. Mentoring Matters is an adaptation of cognitive coaching specifically designed for instructional mentors and coaches in their work with beginning and experienced teachers. This session (days 3 and 4 in the Mentoring Matters series) will help mentors and coaches further develop and refine their skills in facilitating learning-focused conversations to nurture teacher growth and enhance student achievement. Continental breakfast and lunch are provided. Substitute reimbursement is available by request.
