CSTP has launched a new initiative called The New Teacher Alliance. The work, funded by the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation and coordinated by CSTP, focuses on keeping new teachers in our schools through mentoring practices and induction into the profession that supports teachers through the crucial first five years. The Paul G. Allen Family Foundation has committed $2.25 million over the next four years and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation added support of $750,000.
