"We live in a time of such rapid change and growth of knowledge that only s/he who is in a fundamental sense a scholar--that is, a person who continues to learn and inquire--can hope to keep pace, let alone play the role of guide."

Nathan M. Pusey
President, Harvard University

Since 2007, with funding from the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, CSTP and OSPI have hosted an annual symposium for Washington's mentors and instructional coaches.  Focused on supporting the professional learning of  educators who help their colleagues improve their professional practice, hundreds of mentors, coaches, other teacher leaders, and administrators have benefited from participating.    Look to the list at the right to see materials and photos from the 2010 symposium and information from past years.

The 2011 symposium will be held in Spokane on November 3-5.  Watch for early registration information in May.
