CSTP will continually add the newest resources, research and information about emerging issues in supporting English language learners.
English Language Learners are a growing student population in Washington schools. As the classroom demographics change, so must the instructional practices and resources provided to address the unique learning needs of ELL students. Rooted in the findings of several recent ELL reports and research, CSTP has produced a policy brief for educators and districts called "Supporting Teachers of English Language Learners" about the challenges, ideas and resources for educating ELL students.
While the policy brief can be opened and printed, it is meant as an electronic brief and includes underlined phrases and words that are linked to additional resources. Below is the policy brief and the individual resources linked within it.
