Leadership Cases

 

 

Acting on a commitment to support the development of teacher leaders, the Center for Strengthening the Teaching Profession funded case study retreats in 2005, 2006 and 2007 where teachers could examine the purpose and structure of case studies, draw on their own experiences to create a case study, and work with a professional researcher to reflect on their conclusions and produce a written product.

 

These cases can be used to prompt personal reflection, discussion between two practitioners in a staff lounge, or examination of leadership issues by teachers and administrators coming together for professional development.
