Teacher Leadership Opportunity - Teacher Ambassador Fellowship

Application Open for Next Round of Teacher Ambassador Fellows 

Interested in joining a community of teacher leaders who share expertise and collaborate with policymakers and leaders in the federal government on national education issues?

Consider applying for the Department of Education's Teaching Ambassador Fellowship. WA state has proudly had a teacher chosen for this fellowship each year of the program so far. It is a great opportunity to learn, to lead and to listen to the larger issues of education in our country today. 

This year, there are three programs to consider as part of the Fellowship:

* Washington Fellow: 1 year, resides in Washington, DC

* Classroom Fellow: 1 year, in addition to your current regular full-time job, travel can be involved, hours per month varies

* Regional Fellow: 1 year, full-time in Seattle
