Teachers Respond to Compensation Recommendations

Over 400 teachers responded to CSTP's survey on the draft recommendations by the Compensation Technical Work Group regarding educator pay and salary structures. For the most part teacher agreed with their recommendations, but there were some areas that teachers were unsure or disagreed. To find out what they said, read the summary.

The State's Compensation Technical Work Group has been working on developing recommendations that would revamp the way in which teachers are paid. Here is their latest versions of recommendations. They will finalize their recommendations at their June 7, 14 and 21 meeting. Their final report is due to the Quality Education Council on July 1, 2012.
