The Professional Educator Standards Board is seeking scorers for the new ProTeach Portfolio for the teacher Professional Certificate. People must attend a prerequisite scoring session July 12 - 16, 2010, to become familiar with the scoring materials and online scoring system allowing for remote scoring. Those attending the scorer training then commit to scoring portfolios online from their home beginning February 2011.
PROTEACH PORTFOLIO SCORER TRAINING:
Time & Dates: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., July 12 - 16, 2010
Location: Seatac Hilton Airport & Conference Center
Travel: Travel expenses will be covered, but must be pre-approved.
Compensation: Participants will be paid $14 per hour for the entire scoring session. Scorers will also be compensated for 3 hours o fpre-session homework.
