What WA Teachers Say About Evaluation

Currently, the state legislature is grappling with proposed legislation to make Washington moreeligible for competitive federal funding called Race to the Top. Changes toteacher evaluation is one area addressed in Senate Bill 6696.   

In orderto amplify the voices of accomplished teachers on this policy issuewe gathered feedback from teachers across the state, through focus groups, forums and a survey, to hear what they had to say about evaluation and the proposed changes before the legislature.
